FLSA Status: Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and select employees to fill vacant positions together with management as well as advise line managers on interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, and other related human resource issues.
  • Search for and enforce new sourcing methods to find job candidates
  • Prepare Offer Letters, additional employee related documentation and oversee record keeping of personnel files
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding with the management and oversee organizational training and development programs in collaboration with Retarus headquarters.
  • Attend career events and job fairs
  • Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Assist in implementing and administer compensation models and performance review programs (including salary administration).
  • Conducts research on salary, benefits, and employment practices to ensure market competitiveness
  • Lead and/or support commercial projects, e.g. introduction of new travel tool, manage PEO organization, administer existing 401k plans etc.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ experience in recruiting, IT area preferred
  • Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional recruiting networks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree and several years of professional experience in human resources.
  • General knowledge of US employment law.
  • Experience with working with a PEO for payroll and benefits administration.
  • Experience with 401K administration.
  • Ability to work independently and good with numbers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Very good business administration knowledge.
  • Good understanding and interest of different work cultures and different challenges they offer
  • Bilingual a plus, German desired
